GPSU Military - Federal Fellowship (Hybrid)

GuidePoint Security provides trusted cybersecurity expertise, solutions and services that help organizations make better decisions and minimize risk. This application is for separating service members looking to conduct an internship through DoD Skillbridge, Army Career Skills Program, or Hiring Our Heroes. As a fellow at GuidePoint Security, you will work closely with industry-leading subject matter experts to provide first-class cyber security services. Fellows will complete in-house training programs, while working on projects to enhance their security knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

Work closely with industry-leading subject matter experts to provide first-class cyber security services; Complete in-house training programs while working on projects to enhance security knowledge and skills; Gain experience through hands-on technical development; Real-world security response; Collaborative project work; Team and position shadowing; Partner-led vendor training and certifications

Requirements

Separation from active-duty military service within the next 18 months; An active security clearance (Top Secret or higher); Eligibility to conduct an internship/fellowship through DoD Skillbridge, Army Career Skills Program, or Hiring Our Heroes; Located within the United States for the entire duration of the fellowship and future full-time employment opportunities; At least a basic knowledge of networking, common security tools and practices, as well as a passion for information security; Ability to work on-site at one of several locations

Preference is given to those currently serving in IT, intelligence, or cyber positions
