Guest Experience Host (Actors/Performers)

CAMP is seeking a highly energetic, charismatic, and multi-talented individual to join our team! The Guest Experience Host (part-time) is our frontline "Immersive Experience Attraction Counselor," bringing a natural performer's energy to the floor, whether stepping into playful, immersive moments or confidently engaging groups of guests, while driving retail sales and delivering magical service across the entire store.

Responsibilities

Deliver scripted and improvised performance within the immersive experience space; Lead guided programming and play-based experiences, including Toy Demos & Guided Play and Leading Crafts or Slime; Serve as a Character Host (Mascot Handler) to direct guest flow and line management for character meet-and-greets; Adapt programming to different age groups and group sizes; Achieve sales targets and KPIs by providing selling experiences and introducing families to products; Welcome every guest with a custom greeting; Customize personal shopping experiences and check out guests at the register; Build a repeat customer base; Open and close the experience and store spaces, including daily setup, safety checks, and end-of-day breakdown; Assist in merchandising and replenishing the sales floor; Assist with Back of House and stock room tasks; Uphold safety protocols and perform ongoing cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting of play and retail areas; Communicate customer/store needs to leadership and collaborate with team members

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older; Must be local to the area; Must be authorized to work in the United States; Must be able to work at least one weekend day/week; Energy, enthusiasm, and a guest-first mindset; Passion for selling and working with people; Prior experience in retail, child-care, child development/education, or performing arts; Patience, warmth, joy, and humor; Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours, continuously moving around the store; Ability to lift and place product up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights (may involve climbing a ladder)
