We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Relation Host with Japanese language skills to join our luxury resort in {NAME}, Maldives. As a vital member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for ensuring our Japanese-speaking guests have an exceptional and memorable stay.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist Japanese-speaking guests throughout their stay, providing a warm and personalised experience; Act as a liaison between Japanese guests and various departments within the resort; Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently; Coordinate and book resort activities, dining reservations, and excursions for guests; Provide translation and interpretation services when needed; Conduct resort orientations and provide information about facilities, services, and local attractions; Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth process for Japanese guests; Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance their overall experience; Maintain accurate guest records and preferences in the resort's customer relationship management system; Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues and ensure guest satisfaction

Requirements

Fluency in Japanese and English (both written and spoken) is essential; Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles, preferably in a luxury resort setting; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field is preferred; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and empathetic demeanour; Strong cultural sensitivity and awareness, particularly regarding Japanese customs and etiquette; Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail; Proficiency in computer systems, including booking systems and customer relationship management software; Knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and practices; Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
