Health Coach

Future is building a personalized guidance system for lifelong health. Future pairs each member with an expert coach who gets to know them, their goals, and their data, then builds a healthier life around all of it. This is a partner role, not a prescriber role. Engagement is a 1099 independent contractor engagement, currently hiring only in AZ, FL, GA, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, and UT.

Responsibilities

Own a caseload of members and guide them from onboarding through their 90-day milestone and beyond; run virtual kickoff and check-in sessions and support members between sessions over messaging; build personalized, data-informed plans across fitness, nutrition, sleep, and recovery using AI tooling; use motivational interviewing and reflective listening to help members choose their own next steps; contextualize body composition scans, bloodwork and GLP-1 considerations within scope under the guidance of Future's Clinical Team; track progress against member-set goals and celebrate behavior and consistency wins; bring learnings from members back to the team to help shape the program

Requirements

NBC-HWC (National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach) full board certification required; associate's degree or higher (or equivalent experience-based path to coaching certification); 2+ years of client-facing coaching or training experience; proven high-volume caseload management; comfort working with a diverse member population; strong written communication; strong verbal communication and presence over video; comfortable synthesizing health data across nutrition apps and wearable devices

Nice to have

Additional coaching credentials such as ACE Health Coach, Precision Nutrition L1, or NASM Behavior Change Specialist; personal-training or strength credential (CSCS; NASM, ACE, or ACSM CPT; or similar); nutrition-coaching certification such as Precision Nutrition; advanced degree in exercise science, physiology, kinesiology, or a related field; clinical collaboration in functional or integrative medicine; experience with luxury clientele; distinct coaching specialty such as performance, postpartum, pelvic-floor, or eating-disorder-informed coaching; startup experience
