Health & Social Care Trainer

As a Training Coordinator, you will work across a number of care homes providing inspirational face to face training to staff across a range of topics. You will be enthusiastic and highly organised with lots of previous experience in a similar role. You will ensure the Training Matrix is up to date and that staff are compliant with their training and provide any refresher training required. You will also be in charge of the induction of new starters including supporting new carers with the Care Certificate. You will work with the other Training Coordinator to ensure a joined up approach across our business. You must be able to drive so you can get to each site independently.

Responsibilities

Work across a number of care homes providing inspirational face to face training to staff across a range of topics; Ensure the Training Matrix is up to date and that staff are compliant with their training and provide any refresher training required; Be in charge of the induction of new starters including supporting new carers with the Care Certificate; Work with the other Training Coordinator to ensure a joined up approach across our business; Drive between care homes to get to each site independently

Requirements

Experienced in delivering mandatory Health and Social Care training modules to groups of learners; Qualified with a PTTLS / AET / PGCE / CertEd; A recognised Level 3 in Health & Social Care; A strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance; An excellent communicator who is engaging and adaptable; Highly organised and ability to keep good records; Must be able to drive between care homes (mileage will be paid); Self-motivated and good time management skills; Enthusiastic and highly organised; Lots of previous experience in a similar role
