We’re looking for highly-skilled craftsman who can “do it all” while taking excellent care of our customers.

Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers about scope of work and costs; Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience; Following the Mr. Handyman Way; Documenting the job while following the process; Wearing proper PPE and booties to protect the customer’s home; Encouraging customers to complete satisfaction surveys; Meeting revenue targets by finding additional ways to be of service; Invoicing appropriately, sourcing materials, and collecting payment; Ensuring work is done correctly the first time

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: carpentry work, bathroom improvements, kitchen improvements, painting inside and out, drywall work minor and major repairs, general plumbing and electrical where allowed by law, floor installation and refurbishing, familiar with building codes; Culture alignment; Bought into the vision; Meets expectations of creating Raving Fans; Self-manage; Provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Have necessary tools including ability to use technology; Document the job following the Mr. Handyman Way; Wear proper PPE and booties
