Home Manager

Compass Associates are working with a long-established, family-owned care provider to recruit an experienced Home Manager for a large residential care home in Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operational leader who enjoys developing people, improving services and creating positive working cultures. Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of the home; Leading and developing the staff team; Building a positive culture and improving team morale; Ensuring CQC compliance and high-quality care delivery; Managing recruitment, retention and workforce planning; Developing relationships with residents, families and external professionals; Working collaboratively with senior leadership to deliver continuous improvements

Requirements

Previous experience managing a residential elderly care service; A strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards; Excellent leadership and communication skills; Experience improving team performance and operational standards; Commercial awareness, including occupancy and staffing management; A passion for delivering person-centred care; A Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)
