Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers; Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience; Following the Mr. Handyman Way; Self-managing, as you’ll often be alone; Communicating with customers to provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Resolving issues while maintaining value to the customer; Documenting job status and creating detailed estimates; Wearing proper PPE

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years’ experience; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Self-manage as you’ll be alone often; Speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Ability to resolve issues while maintaining value to the customer; Document job status and create detailed estimates; Wear proper PPE; Strong skill sets in remodeling and construction fields including rough and finish carpentry, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, siding trim replacement and repair, door and window installation, painting, drywall work, minor and major repairs, lite plumbing and electrical, floor installation, tile and grout, deck building, fence repair
