Implementation Project Manager

Smartleaf is a growing team of financial professionals, mathematicians, financial engineers and software developers working to transform wealth management by making portfolio management frictionless. As Smartleaf's Implementation Project Manager, you will onboard new client firms, serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact, and provide clients with a successful and delightful experience. Strong preference for candidates local to the Boston area. Smartleaf is unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future; candidates must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Understand client requirements and objectives and translate them into an actionable project plan; Manage the project lifecycle (sales to service transition, planning, execution, monitoring, closure); Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Partner with internal specialists to execute on the project plan; Set expectations of internal and external stakeholders and hold teams accountable for deadlines and deliverables; Continuously report on project status, including progress to plan and hours spent; Identify issues, mitigate risks and develop contingency plans as needed; Document lessons learned and recommend process improvements; Drive high-impact enterprise onboarding, leading multi-million-dollar FinTech implementations from technical architecture to go-live; Solve complex data integration, custodial API, and workflow automation challenges alongside financial engineers

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; 5+ years of experience with enterprise SaaS implementations or project management; Organized, great communicator, able to multitask and prioritize competing demands; Self-sufficient and able to work well independently; Personable and relationship-oriented; Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders, including executives; Eager to learn and looking for a job with room to grow

Nice to have

Prior experience in Financial Services or FinTech; Experience with enterprise clients and high ARR clients
