Industrial Painter (Powder Coat) – Night Shift

The Powder Coat Painter is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal parts using powder coating techniques. This role ensures high-quality finishes that meet company standards and customer specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required; Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens; Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently to achieve desired finish and thickness; Inspect coated parts for quality, ensuring adherence to specifications and correcting defects; Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity; Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area; Track and report production data, including material usage and job completion times; Assist in troubleshooting coating issues and recommend process improvements

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Knowledge of powder coating processes, materials, and equipment; Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings; Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; Familiarity with safety standards in a manufacturing environment; Manual dexterity and precision; Basic mechanical aptitude; Time management and organizational skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred
