Internal Client Services - Data Scientist: Advanced Analytics, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (2 Year Contract)

We are looking for a Data Scientist to design and deliver advanced analytics products that combine data engineering, business intelligence, machine learning and artificial intelligence. You will turn business questions into model‑driven insights, build trusted data pipelines and visualisations, and translate analytical outputs into clear, actionable recommendations that drive decisions.

3 - 5 years’ experience in business intelligence, dashboard development, advanced analytics or model‑driven insight delivery.

Requirements

Frame business problems into descriptive, diagnostic, predictive or artificial intelligence‑enabled analytics opportunities.; Prepare and structure data for dashboards, models and advanced analysis.; Develop business intelligence products that integrate analytical or model outputs with clear user journeys and measures.; Build statistical, forecasting, anomaly detection, segmentation or predictive models where justified.; Perform feature engineering, model validation and documentation of assumptions, limitations and risks.; Implement data validation and reconciliation to ensure trusted results.; Translate analytical outputs into business‑facing recommendations, dashboards or alerts and support operational handover.; Deliver minimum viable product releases, gather user feedback and iterate to improve value and adoption.; Proficient in structured query language for data extraction and transformation.; Experience with Python or R for analysis and model development.; Experience building production dashboards and reports using Power BI (or equivalent business intelligence tools).; Strong understanding of statistical methods, model validation and feature engineering.; Experience implementing data quality, validation and reconciliation checks.; Practical experience documenting models, assumptions and known limitations.; Awareness of generative artificial intelligence and responsible artificial intelligence principles is desirable.; Databricks Lakehouse platform experience is desirable but not required.
