IT & Projects Manager W/M

To support this growth, we’re looking for an IT & Projects Manager to lead our IT Projects team, own our internal IT platforms and drive the projects that will help Pennylane scale successfully. Reporting to the IT Team Lead, you’ll play a key role in continuously improving our internal IT environment and delivering a great employee experience across the company.

Responsibilities

Lead the IT Projects team and help them grow; Prioritizing the team’s roadmap and initiatives; Coaching and developing team members; Defining quality standards and best practices; Ensuring successful project delivery; Building a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement; Own the administration, security and evolution of internal IT platforms (Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Cloudflare Zero Trust, Slack, Notion, Identity & Access Management, SaaS lifecycle management); Lead cross-functional IT projects; Automate repetitive tasks; Standardize processes; Improve internal documentation; Optimize workflows and existing tools; Improve the employee experience; Help maintain a high level of security and compliance by applying ISO 27001 and DORA standards, Identity & Access Management, access reviews, internal audits, and continuous improvement of security practices; Help identify valuable AI use cases, support deployment of approved AI tools and encourage responsible AI adoption across the company

Requirements

Proven experience as an IT Lead/IT Project Manager, or similar role in a fast-growing SaaS or tech environment; Experience managing operational IT projects and cross-functional initiatives; Strong hands-on experience with SaaS administration tools such as Google Workspace, Jamf, Slack, Notion, Okta, and Cloudflare Zero Trust; Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts, including SSO and SCIM; Comfortable working in Apple/macOS environments; Good understanding of IT security, access governance, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2; Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, automation workflows, and enterprise AI adoption practices; Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive topics end-to-end; Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach balancing security, scalability, and user experience; Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; Rigorous approach to documentation, operational quality, and continuous improvement; Strong prioritization and organizational skills in fast-moving environments; Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken); Being energized by an ever-shifting work environment; Being highly collaborative; Being sufficiently experienced to prioritize business-led actions

Nice to have

Previous experience leading or mentoring technical teams; Scripting and automation skills (Bash/Zsh, Python)
