We are seeking an Junior AIT Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth, supporting the assembly, integration and testing of advanced aerospace and space systems within a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Location: Portsmouth; On Site: Fully onsite; Clearance: Clearable; Experience Level: Junior; Perform assembly, integration and test activities in accordance with engineering procedures and work instructions.; Prepare hardware and equipment for integration and testing activities.; Support electrical and mechanical integration of aerospace and space systems.; Execute functional tests and record test results accurately.; Identify and report non-conformances, anomalies and defects.; Complete manufacturing and quality documentation in line with project requirements.; Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.; Ensure compliance with quality, safety and cleanliness requirements.; Support continuous improvement initiatives within the AIT environment

Requirements

Space or Aerospace Engineering background; Ability to interpret engineering drawings, procedures and technical documentation.; Strong practical and hands-on engineering skills.; Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.; Experience working to strict processes and procedures.; Good communication and teamwork skills.; Flexible and proactive approach to problem solving.; A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering , or equivalent military experience .
