Laundry Attendant (Part-Time)

Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00 Hourly. evo Hotel Tahoe City is curated by iconic snowboarder and Tahoe local Jeremy Jones, bringing his passion for the area to life throughout the hotel. Located in Campus Tahoe City, along the shores of Lake Tahoe, a mecca for year-round adventure. This hotel is an outdoor cultural hub featuring curated rooms, a happening bar restaurant, gear rentals and demos, a gallery and creative retail experience.

Responsibilities

Receive soiled linens by bag, cart, or chute from floors; Sort articles by kind, color, and degree of soil; Inspect all laundry and linens and record damaged or stained items; Operate washers and dryers according to recommended capacity and manufacturer guidelines; Ensure necessary chemicals are added in correct quantities before wash cycles; Fold clean linens and store as appropriate; Operate linen feeder, sheet folder, towel folder, and table linen ironer machines; Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor; Monitor and control supplies and minimize waste in laundry facility; Sort and record discarded linen into categories and report damages or loss; Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments; Complete shift checklists and special projects as assigned; Be available to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Follow all company policies and safety standards; Immediately report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions; Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas; Attend mandatory meetings and perform cross-training as directed.
