Lead Product Designer

Lead Product Design role, with a bank who are redefining what it feels like to work in finance. This challenger bank has become one of the UK’s most loved places to work. The role would require you into a London office twice a week. Sponsorship or more flexible working is NOT being offered. This is a hands-on, lead role which would also require some management (2-3 other designers), although there is a Head of Design there also. Prior banking or fintech experience is a bonus but not essential. B2C experience and working as part of an embedded (in-house) team, is essential! The bank is actively embedding AI into design workflows – including building internal tools to handle repetitive tasks like reviewing component-level work for design system alignment and accessibility compliance. You’ll report to the Head of Design whilst part of an established design team (approx 20 designers).

Requirements

Previously held a Lead Product Design position within a B2C (in-house) environment; Must have experience line managing other designers; Must also have recent experience working as part of an embedded team i.e. in-house (with a B2C brand/product); Strong native mobile app experience – evidenced in portfolio; Comfortable in fast-paced, agile environments with hands-on delivery; Familiarity with AI-enabled design processes; Strong portfolio demonstrating high quality UI/visual craft as well as UX process
