Lead Supply Chain Commercial Manager

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise. As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will own the supplier selection and negotiation process. Archer is a visionary company moving at an incredible pace, and our Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for engaging internally and externally at every level to ensure successful partnerships with best-in-class suppliers. Responsibilities

Drive RFx and Supplier Selection process with key stakeholders; Negotiate best-in-class value through thorough cost negotiation; Close contract negotiations to support a successful transition into production; Manage business relationships to develop productive partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders; Work closely with cross-functional leaders to continuously evolve policies and procedures, enhancing organizational value and efficiency; Travel: 20%

Requirements

BS/BA and 8+ years of experience, or MBA/MS and 5+ years of experience; Automotive or Aerospace cost negotiation expertise; In-depth knowledge of high-volume supply contracts; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, and highly-regulated environment; Strong executive communication and internal/external negotiation skills; Ability to cut through ambiguity and detail limitations to make concrete and sound decisions; An insatiable curiosity and a keen attention to detail; Solid analytical and computer skills (excel/sheets, word/docs, powerpoint/slides)
