Lead Vascular Sonographer Quality/IAC Technical Lead - $7,500 Sign-on Bonus!

Join a collaborative and highly respected vascular team as a Lead Vascular Sonographer, combining hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities. This role offers an excellent balance of clinical scanning and program leadership with a key focus on leading the IAC accreditation process, coordinating timelines, organizing quarterly reviews, and ensuring compliance throughout the three-year accreditation cycle. You'll work in a well-supported vascular lab serving both inpatient and outpatient populations, alongside board-certified vascular surgeons in a collaborative, community-focused environment. Responsibilities

Combining hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities; Leading the IAC accreditation process, coordinating timelines, organizing quarterly reviews, and ensuring compliance; Assisting the Vascular Ultrasound Supervisor with coordinating daily functions; Running the Vascular Lab in absence of the supervisor; Assisting with data collection and submittal of documents to the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission; Participating in the interviewing and evaluating process for vascular technologists; Coordinating with patient care teams to ensure accurate and timely exams; Maintaining reports, records and collecting statistics; Assuring delivery of quality vascular ultrasound studies; Acting as an educational resource to patients, observing students and coworkers; Assuring that all equipment is functioning properly; Participating in the holiday rotation; Participating in performing quality improvement audits and meetings; Maintaining credentials and CME requirements for registration

Requirements

Associates degree or certification through an accredited ultrasound program OR Bachelor’s degree in ultrasound or radiologic field; 2-3 years of Vascular Ultrasound work experience; Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); Carotid; Upper and lower extremity venous including venous insufficiency; Upper and lower arterial duplex including bypass grafts and stents; PVR; Mesenteric arterial duplex; Fistulas; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH); INSTRUCTOR- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH); Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
