Legal Engineer, In-House

This role doesn't fit neatly into a traditional box. It's part legal ops, part product specialist, part solutions architect, and part client whisperer. Your mission is to help our clients, some of the most sophisticated in-house legal teams in the world, get the absolute most out of our platform.

Responsibilities

Help clients, some of the most sophisticated in-house legal teams in the world, get the absolute most out of our platform; Acting as a thought partner to General Counsels, Legal Operations leaders, and in-house teams; Working together with Go To Market and Engagement in taking full ownership of client relationships; Be the voice of in-house users inside Legora; Delivering clear, confident product demos and training; Documenting best practices from leading legal departments, contribute to the development of scalable playbooks; Confidently helping in-house teams navigate one of the biggest shifts in how corporate legal operates

Requirements

Have a background in law, with experience in an in-house legal team or corporate legal department gained in the DACH or Benelux market; Bring a language skill relevant to the DACH or Benelux market (either German, Dutch/Flemish or French); Are tech-curious and product-savvy; Communicate clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders, from General Counsels to business leaders, and from lawyers to engineers; Bring structure to ambiguity and energy to complexity; Understand how to evaluate and improve existing processes as a direct result of new and emerging technologies; Are proactive, self-directed, and comfortable juggling multiple client relationships at once; Care deeply about quality, but don't get stuck in perfectionism; Understand the commercial realities of in-house life: doing more with limited resources, demonstrating value to the business, balancing risk and commercial objectives, and being a strategic partner rather than just a cost centre
