Legal Engineer - Law Firms

This role doesn't fit neatly into a traditional box. It's part legal ops, part product specialist, part solutions architect, and part client whisperer. Your mission is to help our clients, some of the most prestigious law firms in the world, get the absolute most out of our platform.

Responsibilities

Acting as a thought partner to law firm partners, associates, and innovation teams; building trusted relationships, addressing tricky pain points, and identifying high-value opportunities for them to scale their use of Legora across practice groups; working together with Go To Market and Engagement in taking full ownership of firm relationships, from running pilots with key practice areas, to onboarding new associates and partners, and ultimately guiding full-firm adoption across global law firms; being the voice of law firm users inside Legora, sharing insights from M&A teams, litigation departments, and other practice groups that directly inform product development, roadmap priorities, and strategic direction; delivering clear, confident product demos and training that bring the power of the platform to life, whether presenting to a single practice group or rolling out firm-wide; documenting best practices from leading firms, contributing to the development of scalable playbooks, and helping shape how the function grows globally; confidently helping law firms navigate one of the biggest shifts in how legal services are delivered, from evaluating the ROI and competitive advantage of AI to clearly mapping how AI will impact different practice areas, from corporate to disputes

Requirements

Background in law, with experience at a top-tier law firm; tech-curious and product-savvy, passionate about navigating technical conversations around generative AI, technology implementation, innovation and productivity; communicates clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders, from senior partners to graduate trainees and from lawyers to engineers; brings structure to ambiguity and energy to complexity; calm, credible presence in a fast-moving environment; understands how to evaluate and improve existing processes as a result of new and emerging technologies, whether streamlining due diligence, contract review, or legal research; proactive, self-directed, and comfortable juggling multiple firm relationships at once; cares deeply about quality but doesn't get stuck in perfectionism; understands the commercial realities of law firm life, including billing pressures, client expectations, competitive positioning, and the balance between innovation and risk management
