Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor

Provides both Mental health & Substance Use disorder care. Location has 10 therapists on staff, located on the Moross Campus. Looking for an individual who is interested in contingent work (16-20hr/week). Flexible schedule, with one day onsite.

Responsibilities

Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals; Administers individual and group therapy; Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations; Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions; Provides patients with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community; Works directly with the patient, family, physician, and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from initiation of treatment to discharge

Requirements

Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience in counseling, social work, or psychology (alternatively, an Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience); One or more of the following licenses/certifications required: Licensed Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work, Licensed Counselor credentialed from the Michigan Board of Counseling, Licensed Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Psychology, or Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family, obtained prior to hire or job transfer date
