Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive oral hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.; Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.; Assess and document patient conditions, collaborating with the dental team for optimal treatment plans.; Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations.; Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Open Dental and other dental software.; Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.; Travel as needed to support community sites, which may include driving a company vehicle or personal transportation when necessary.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene.; Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License.; 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred.; Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.; Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification.; Effective oral and written communication skills in English.; Ability to work under a signed Collaborative Agreement following state and company regulations.; Proficiency or willingness to learn Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other necessary systems.; Valid driver’s license (based on clinic location) and willingness to travel as needed.
