Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN)

Solaris HealthCare North Naples is now hiring. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to provide outstanding care to our residents each and every day. Provides nursing care within scope of practice to insure resident’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to insure resident’s needs are met; Administers medications timely and according to facility policy; Administers treatments timely and according to facility policy; Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders; Transcribes physician’s orders to resident charts, medication/treatment cards and care plans; Charts progress notes in an informative, factual manner; Conducts family and resident education; Identifies and reports changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family; Coordinates resident’s rehabilitation program with therapies; Counts narcotics at the beginning and completion of each shift; Conducts frequent rounds to evaluate effectiveness of care delivery; Orders and reports diagnostic tests timely; Plans nursing interventions for each resident based on their individual needs and monitors the implementation

Requirements

Currently licensed as an Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in this state; CPR Certified; Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening

Nice to have

One year prior nursing experience
