Limited License Mental Health Therapist

Ellie Mental Health – Clarkston is an independently owned and operated private practice serving both the local Clarkston community and the state of Michigan through our office space and telehealth. We manage almost all of your administrative tasks, including billing, so that you can focus on what you love, client care. At EMH you’ll deliver outpatient care in a fully furnished, welcoming clinic space designed to support both client wellness and clinician comfort. We offer a standout W2 pay model (straight commission) with industry-leading compensation.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive mental health intakes; develop treatment plans; complete timely documentation including diagnoses, treatment plans, and session notes; maintain a minimum of 25 direct client facing hours per week; initial scheduling availability of 35 hours per week to support caseload growth

Requirements

Full unrestricted licensure in the State of Michigan (LMFT, LMSW, LPC); master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field from an accredited institution; experience in creating and implementing treatment plans and maintaining detailed clinical documentation; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to establish and uphold stable, ethical boundaries with clients; consistently completes session records, service notes, and required documentation promptly; comfortable and confident working with a diverse population; proficiency in day-to-day office tools and electronic health records (EHR)
