Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a 13 week locum Interventional Cardiology Physician job in Mount Vernon, Illinois, paying $400/hr - $425/hr.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, stenting and catheterizations; Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions; Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies; Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed; Address and manage acute cardiovascular emergencies and complications; Maintain detailed and accurate medical records

Requirements

ACLS; 1 year experience; Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school; Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA); Fellowship in cardiology, with specific training in interventional cardiology; Board certification in cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA); Additional board certification or fellowship completion in interventional cardiology; Active and unrestricted medical license in Illinois
