Locum Urology Physician

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a 13 week locum Urology Physician job in Richland, Washington, paying $325/hr - $350/hr. Assignment Length: 13 weeks. Schedule: 4x12-Hour 07:00 - 19:00. Responsibilities

Diagnose, treat and manage urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones and prostate issues; Perform various surgical interventions including cystoscopies, nephrectomies and prostatectomies; Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients; Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options and post-care management strategies; Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school; Residency training program in urology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA); Fellowship training in a urology specialty may be required; Board certification in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS); Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington; Experience: 1 year; Strong expertise in performing a range of both surgical and non-surgical urological procedures; Excellent communication skills to explain complex medical information to patients; Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex urological conditions; Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different medical teams
