As a Logistics Container Management Specialist within BMW Group's logistics division, you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars. Your work helps to ensure that deliveries are always made on time and in the correct order.

Responsibilities

Responsible at a group level across multiple locations and entities; Integrated in an international operating team and perform for other BMW Group entities; Working in an international environment as member of the Container Management Specialist Team; Handling supplier requests related to reusable packaging materials; Managing container accounts for a defined group of suppliers and performing regular monthly reconciliations; Identifying root causes of accounting or inventory discrepancies and developing long-term solutions; Coordinating the annual container inventory; Contributing to the improvement and optimization of packaging material management processes

Requirements

Degree in business administration, business informatics, or a related field, or several years of experience in logistics; Good overview of supply chain processes and ability to understand and interpret their interdependencies; Confident use of MS Office applications, especially Excel; Comfortable analyzing data and processes and identifying root causes of problems; Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and partners; Structured, independent, and responsible working style; Confident command of English; Valid category B driving license is required
