Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

Developing a schedule for routine maintenance of mobile plants, heavy equipment, trucks, etc.; Responding to diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment; Creating standard operating procedures for maintenance and repairs; Training staff on equipment use and potential hazards to help ensure safety; Supervising members of the maintenance team, including Mechanics, Electricians and specialized contractors; Maintaining records of equipment installations, malfunctions, maintenance and repairs; Estimating project costs and assisting in developing a departmental budget; Staying current on machinery recalls, safety guidelines and evolving industry standards

Requirements

Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services; Holder of a valid Mandatory Basic Safety Training Certificate (Construction Safety Green Card); Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience; Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards; Fluent in both spoken and written Cantonese and English
