Maintenance Leader

The Maintenance Leader is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and efficiency of all Mix, Fill & Pack and R&G production equipment within the instant coffee and tea manufacturing plant. This role leads maintenance activities, drives preventive and predictive maintenance programs, minimizes equipment downtime, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure reliability, availability, and efficiency of Mix, Fill & Pack and R&G production equipment; Lead maintenance and troubleshooting of production lines and related equipment; Develop and deploy preventive (PM) and predictive (PdM) maintenance programs; Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions; Analyse recurring failures and lead root cause analysis (RCA); Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and contractors; Plan and allocate maintenance resources; Provide technical support to production teams; Support changeovers, startups, commissioning, and shutdowns; Ensure rapid response to breakdowns; Drive reliability improvement projects and equipment upgrades; Support Autonomous Maintenance, OEE improvement, and automation/digitalization initiatives; Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and safety standards; Ensure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are followed; Lead safety inspections and risk assessments; Manage maintenance spare parts inventory and procurement; Own and optimize maintenance costs within budget; Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and OEMs; Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and factory expansion projects

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Minimum 5–8 years of maintenance experience in FMCG, food, beverage, coffee, tea, dairy, or consumer goods manufacturing; Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role; Mechanical systems; Electrical systems; PLC troubleshooting; Pneumatic and hydraulic systems; CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems); Food manufacturing equipment; Reliability-centered maintenance practices; Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000/ISO 22000, and Occupational Safety and Health regulations

Nice to have

Experience with packaging and filling equipment; Experience in instant coffee and tea manufacturing; Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies
