Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing maintenance team that delivers safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role balances leadership, technical expertise, and execution, ensuring equipment uptime and plant performance through strong preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The Maintenance Manager builds team capability, drives accountability, and partners cross-functionally to support production, customer needs, and asset performance.

Responsibilities

Lead a high-performing maintenance team; Foster a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, electrical safety, confined space, hot work, working at heights; Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards; Ensure equipment supports consistent, quality output and efficient production; Champion continuous improvement using Lean / CI tools; Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians; Set clear goals and expectations for performance and accountability; Own and execute the site maintenance strategy including Preventive and Predictive maintenance; Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes; Own and improve the CMMS, work orders, PM schedules, asset history and spare parts; Support capital projects, installations, and equipment upgrades; Manage vendors, contractors, and external technical resources; Manage maintenance budget, repair costs, and service spending

Requirements

7+ years in maintenance leadership roles; Strong background in industrial maintenance (mechanical/electrical systems); Experience with CMMS systems and work order processes; Proven ability to lead and develop teams; Process oriented, results driven; Efficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to communicate priorities, issues and opportunities

Nice to have

Associate degree or higher in a technical field; Experience with packaging or automated manufacturing systems; Lean / CI experience (TPM, Six Sigma, etc.); Project management and capital installation experience; CAD experience is a plus
