Maintenance Tech II

Full-time Maintenance Tech II position at Asbury Solomons, a part of Asbury Communities, Inc., serving seniors at a Nationally Accredited Waterfront Community in Southern Maryland. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm (40 hours weekly), with an on-call rotation roughly every 10 weeks. Responsibilities focus on HVAC equipment and general maintenance across the community.

Responsibilities

Performs data collection, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of multiple types of industrial HVAC equipment (fan coil units, air handlers, variable air volume controllers, circulating water pumps, supply and exhaust fans); changing air filters, adjusting drive belts, lubricating grease fittings and drive mechanisms, coil cleaning; Performs data collection, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of cottage heat pumps and furnaces; Performs general maintenance on laundry, commercial kitchen equipment, domestic water, fire protection and alarm systems; Responds to residential work orders as directed by lead technician/supervisor; Assists Plant Operations Manager with heating, boiler and chiller equipment; Utilizes maintenance management system software to document work order completion and issue resolutions

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalency, required; Valid Drivers License, required; Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in general maintenance, required
