Maintenance Technician- LF (2nd Shift)

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and or Maintenance Manager will follow all established procedures and policies while producing a product that meets or exceeds available standards while prioritizing safety, quality and efficiency to meet the goals of the company.

Responsibilities

Conduct general repairs & maintenance to facility and grounds as assigned; Perform Preventive Maintenance Programs; General Maintenance to include but not limited to Painting, Building Repairs, Plumbing, Electrical Work, Boiler Maintenance and Cleaning Drains; Responsible for inventory of parts of assigned area; Maintain food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner; Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action; Other duties as assigned

Requirements

GED or High School Education; At least 3 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment; Basic computer skills (ie. Word, Exel, etc.); Excellent troubleshooting experience; Strong Communication skills; Multi-task Individual; Ability to work independently or with little supervision; Must have a background in Electrical and PC; Experience in Plumbing, Refrigeration and Equipment repair and Knowledge of Equipment; Basic Knowledge of electrical starters, switches and three (3) phase motors; Must provide your own Hand Tools; Must pass pulmonary functions test and pass and maintain respirator fit test annually; Physical Demands: Standing long periods (up to 8 hours), Sitting occasionally for short periods, Walking long periods, Bending & Twisting frequently, Lifting Heavy (50+lbs), Carrying Heavy (40-60lbs), Pushing/Pulling under 75 lbs. without assistance frequently
