Manager - Nursing - CVOR - FT - Days - MRH

Manages the daily operations of the assigned department, unit, or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance; Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment, supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and stock supplies; Assesses the quality of patient care delivered; Evaluates needs of patients and families; Provides patient and family centered care; Manages complaints and conflicts through to resolution; Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization; Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management; Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, labor utilization and retention, payroll, and student engagements

Requirements

Bachelors: Nursing (Required); BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association; BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association; BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association; BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential; BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross; Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate; Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL); Three (3) years nursing experience; One (1) year supervisory experience; Bachelors Degree in Nursing or enrolled in an accredited program; Critical thinking skills; Effective communications skills; Decisive judgment; Ability to work with minimal supervision; Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action; Business Acumen; Concern for Quality; Develop Relationships; Lead Through Vision; Manage Performance
