Manufacturing Programming Technician I

Responsibilities

Responsible for the efficient usage of programmed materials; Provide basic support to efficiently build quality products and meet market demands; Study and recommend techniques to improve existing CAM and internal software products; Analyze and determine the most effective material size for production and recommends alternative materials to engineering when appropriate; Select and recommend tooling purchases for new equipment in conjunction with engineering and assists to coordinate the purchase of tooling with the tooling department; Create and adjust CAD files and collaborates with engineering regarding design enhancements for cost improvements; Troubleshoots basic machine programming issues; Assist in product development and cost reduction; Participate in special project teams, working outside the scope of normal process to facilitate an accelerated schedule; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent; 0 to 2 years of Experience
