Market Restaurant - Buffet Server

BASIC FUNCTION: The buffet Server will work in our marketplace buffet style restaurant. This position is responsible for providing prompt, courteous service for the guest, and will also assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant front of house. It is important to know that we are tip-free environment so this position is paid a base hourly rate, no tips will be received. Status: Full Time. Availability: 2nd shift. Payrate: $19 per hour - no tips. Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center.

Responsibilities

Work in marketplace buffet style restaurant; Provide prompt, courteous service for the guest; Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant front of house; Interact with guests to take drink orders; Clear, clean and reset plates, tables and maintain a clean workspace; Perform side work such as polishing silverware, rolling silver, cleaning side stations, vacuuming, and more; Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

Requirements

Friendly and outgoing personality. Likes to smile and talk to people.; Restaurant serving experience preferred, but not required. We will train.; Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Certification are required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed.
