Master Level Handyman

We're looking for highly-skilled craftsman who can 'do it all' while taking excellent care of our customers.

Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers; Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience; Following the Mr. Handyman Way; Encouraging customers to complete satisfaction surveys; Finding additional ways to be of service; Invoicing appropriately, sourcing needed materials, and collecting payment from the customer

Requirements

Live within the service area; Minimum of 10 years of paid experience as a handyman; Own and maintain your own set of tools; Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; Must be insurable to drive a company vehicle; Must successfully complete a background check, driving record check, and drug screening; Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance; Able to work safely at heights and perform overhead tasks for extended periods; Maintain a professional appearance and keep the company-provided vehicle in clean, presentable condition; Carpentry work; Bathroom improvements; Kitchen improvements; Painting, both inside and out; Drywall work, minor and major repairs; General plumbing and electrical, where allowed by law; Floor installation and refurbishing; Familiar with building codes; Professionalism, team player, communicative, sales/customer service, contribute and follow the system, flexible and problem solving; Self-manage as you'll be alone often; Provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Have necessary tools, including the ability to use technology; Document the job while following the Mr. Handyman Way; Wear proper PPE as well as booties to protect customer's home
