Material Handler

At Crusoe, we move fast and build things. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to ensure the smooth and accurate flow of materials from our manufacturing shops to job sites. This full-time role is critical to our production process. You will be responsible for the preparation, packaging, and continuous improvement of all shipping activities for the products and parts we manufacture. The ideal candidate has proven experience in shipping and logistics, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. You will play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring that the right materials arrive at the right place, on time.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with transportation coordinator to follow shipping schedule and prepare documentation; Coordinate and perform loading of outgoing shipments; Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory for accuracy and quality; Tag materials with required information; Use pallet jack or forklift to move materials and load/unload trucks; Ensure quality check sheets completed before packaging; Photograph projects and document damages, overages, shortages; Uphold safety and adhere to company policies; Provide input to management on staffing and hiring; Train new team members

Requirements

Proven experience in a shipping, receiving, or related role; Required forklift experience and ability to use basic hand tools; Exceptional attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy; Collaborative team player with good attitude and willingness to learn and improve; Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and use arms and hands for a full workday; Active drug and alcohol program participation required; Must be able to pass comprehensive background check

Nice to have

Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., Infor Visual, Acumatica); Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards
