Responsibilities

Carry out planned maintenance activities to ensure the long-term reliability and safety of the fleet; Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime; Adhere to rigorous engineering standards and procedures; Accurately record all maintenance, defect, and repair information; Keep a modern fleet of rolling stock operational and safe

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Proven heavy maintenance experience in industrial or capital equipment; Practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and braking systems; A team player with a strong commitment to safe working practices; Pass pre-employment checks including Drugs & Alcohol screening and full rail medical

Nice to have

Background in HGV maintenance, aerospace, plant machinery, marine, armed forces, or REMEs; Natural problem-solver; takes pride in your craft; enjoys continuous learning
