Coffman Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (4+ years) who wishes to gain alternative energy experience for a variety of projects, learn how to develop new business relationships, and work in a professional fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun!

Qualifications

Salary range: $80,000-$93,000

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble proposals to win work; Lead multi-discipline engineering teams through design milestones; Respond to client and vendor questions; Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; Manage project schedules and budgets; Facilitate communication across internal and external project teams

Requirements

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (required); Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred); B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or B.S. in Architectural Engineering with a mechanical/energy/sustainability emphasis; ASHRAE membership and involvement (preferred); Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred); Experience with Revit MEP (preferred); Experience in building systems design and/or construction (preferred); Strong written and verbal communication skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); Proactive, collaborative team player
