Medical Assistant (MA) I, Cardiology Clinic

Cardiology is seeking a reliable and professional Medical Assistant who will mainly support Dr. Solis. This role will require travel to 4131 W Loomis Rd, Greenfield WI. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm (8-hour shifts).

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and support their transition into care; Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings; Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures; Administer medications and vaccines as directed; Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing; Document care accurately in the electronic health record; Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years; Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday; Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance; Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills; Will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed
