Mental Health Outpatient Therapist - Child/Teen Focused

At Ellie Mental Health, we are looking for a compassionate and skilled Child/Adolescent Therapist who is committed to enhancing the mental health of young clients and their families. Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for children, adolescents, and their families; Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including initial assessments, ongoing treatment plans, case notes, and progress reviews; Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members; Engage with external stakeholders such as school staff, medical professionals, and case managers; Participate actively in clinical team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development and training; Offer therapeutic services that integrate play-based methods, Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), or other evidence-based approaches; Maintain strong caregiver involvement and conduct family therapy sessions; Provide therapy services both in person at our clinic and via telehealth

Requirements

Master's degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work) from an accredited institution; Registered Intern in the State of Florida, accepted; Demonstrated experience and passion for working with children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic setting; Comprehensive knowledge of child development and its intersection with psychopathology; Proficient in completing diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and case documentation; Familiarity with Office 365 and electronic health record (EHR) systems

Nice to have

Clinical licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, Psy.D. or Ph.D in the State of Florida; Experience with DC:0-5 or other child-specific diagnostic frameworks; Experience with Valant
