Job Title: Mental Health Pharmacist (Band 7/8a). Location: Manchester – Hospital Based. Duration: 6 Months. Schedule: 3, 4 or 5 days per week, 9:00am – 5:00pm (30 mins lunch). Start Date: ASAP. What You'll Be Doing: Join our client's team as a Mental Health Pharmacist and play a key role in supporting patients within an NHS hospital setting. In this role, you will: perform comprehensive patient assessments on mental health wards; support medicines optimisation for psychiatric patients; provide clinical screening and advice on prescriptions; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care; contribute to safe and effective medication use within the service; assist with inpatient dispensary duties where required. Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: current and valid GPhC registration; prior NHS hospital experience (mental health experience desirable); pharmacists with physical health experience will be considered at Band 7 level if keen to gain MH experience; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team; commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a flexible working position with availability for 3, 4 or 5 days per week.
