Mental Health Support Worker

Airmid are now recruiting for reliable compassionate Mental Health Support Workers for work in the Carlisle area, for work supporting clients in a Residential Setting with block bookings and full time and part time opportunities available across Days and Nights.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care; Be proactive with managing behaviour & de-escalation; Ability to communicate clearly & effectively through verbal & written means; Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within a small team; Must be able to maintain a high level of care

Requirements

Right to work in the UK; 6+ months of personal care experience (hospital, nursing home, or home care); DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one; Basic Life Support & Moving/Handling training; Two professional references; Must be trained in Safety Intervention Training, or Control & restraint
