Motion Designer - San Francisco/ Los Angeles

Plaud is building the real-world AI interface for professionals to amplify intelligence, elevate productivity and performance. This role will help showcase how our products and brand are visualized and communicated across digital and real-world touchpoints, through animation and video.

Responsibilities

Create sophisticated, high-impact marketing assets across campaign key visuals and media; Create compelling visual narratives that convey brand story and complex product features in accessible ways; Partner with product, marketing, and sales teams to develop campaigns that drive branding, awareness, and conversion; Adjust and optimize video content for various platforms; Stay current on design trends and technologies to continuously innovate visual approach, applying AI video and static image generation where useful

Requirements

4 to 5 years of experience creating iconic design & animation for brands; Bachelor's degree or higher in design, visual communication, motion design, video editing, art or film, with a strong online portfolio showcasing creative concepts; Proficient in Adobe Suite, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, AI video generation; Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, able to work with marketing, product, and management teams to ensure timely and high-quality design delivery; Highly hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-moving, high-visibility environments; Firm grasp of brand identity, visual systems, templated design workflows; Advanced conceptual (visual verbal) thinking, with a strong portfolio to present work; Ability to leverage AI to empower creative workflows

Nice to have

Independently create 2D motion design in After Effects, delivering artful design techniques and aesthetics as animations; Experience with in-house motion design needs, including animations that explain software functionality in clear, clean design thinking; Foundation in video capture, gear, lighting, shoot management; Quick grasp of new technologies, especially AI video and image generation
