MRI Technologist Lead

MRI Technologist Lead at Advocate Condell Medical Center. Full time, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Responsible for supervising MRI services, performing diagnostic tests, staff training, equipment maintenance, compliance, and patient care.

Responsibilities

Supervision of all services to meet department standards of care and/or respond to demand by the customer or referring physicians; Perform diagnostic tests and function as a staff technologist as required; Develop and maintain an environment conducive to employee associate satisfaction; Assure equipment repairs through appropriate Biomed Department, maintenance or OEM; Assist in the development, interpretation and monitoring of department policies, budgets and strategic plans; Maintain technical, organizational and communication skills; Maintain compliance with Accrediting Organization and Department Safety standards; Provide patient care specific to procedural requirements and patients’ needs within established Department protocols

Requirements

3-4 years MRI tech experience; Graduate of approved Radiologic Technology program; Knowledge of MRI cross-sectional anatomy and physics; Familiar with MR equipment; Associates Degree in Health Science; Familiarity with MRI keyboard; Knowledge of hospital computer systems; ARRT; IDNS; CPR; Available for on-call when necessary; Able to work changing schedules/additional hours to accomplish projects; Able to lift, push, or pull 50# with assistance; Good communication skills; Good organizational skills; Ability to anticipate patient, employee and Department needs and act upon accordingly

Nice to have

2-3 years supervisory experience
