Responsibilities

Producing high-resolution MRI images with precision, safety, and compassion; Keeping patients calm and cared for through every scan; Operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images; Selecting appropriate imaging techniques based on physician orders and patient condition; Evaluating own work before it reaches a radiologist; Enforcing MRI safety zones and screening protocols; Monitoring patients during procedures and responding with composure; Maintaining patient documentation; Performing routine quality control checks and maintaining equipment; Mentoring new staff and students

Requirements

ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required; Valid state licensure current (where required); Hands-on CPR/BLS certified and current; Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program; MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature; Proficiency in PACS and imaging software systems; Confident in contrast administration and contraindication assessment; Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates; Calm under pressure and sharp under a deadline; Willingness to mentor staff and students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Nice to have

1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred
