The Production planner plays a central role in controlling production by collaborating with internal stakeholders on various contracts proposed by Airbus Helicopters Japan (new aircraft, MRO, training, repairs and modifications, etc.). Additionally, in fulfilling contracts for aircraft and equipment maintenance, repair, and modification, Production planner manage the entire process—from preparing maintenance plan to addressing various issues during fulfillment and handling final delivery—ensuring delivery within specified timelines. It requires a good organizational mindset to manage the planning, communication skills to work with other departments and suppliers. It also required a capacity of listening and caring for stakeholder needs, as well as decision-making skills for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Managing the entire process from preparing maintenance plan to addressing various issues during fulfillment and handling final delivery, ensuring delivery within specified timelines; Cost estimation for MRO/Custom of helicopters; Creating, issuance and management of maintenance planning sheet; Creating, issuance and management of maintenance schedule for each aircraft; Creating, issuance and management of each work cards and other directions; Creating, issuance of work orders related to defects for each aircraft and component; Request required parts, material etc. for MRO/Custom of helicopters using internal IT system SAP; Request required outsourcing work for MRO/Custom of helicopters using internal IT system SAP

Requirements

Basic skill to Google workspace or MS Office; Internal coordination and cooperation; Leadership; Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity

Nice to have

Communicate and prepare documents in Japanese; Practical experience in general production control; Practical experience in aircraft production control; Basic knowledge for aircraft maintenance; Practical experience of helicopter (or airplane) maintenance; Experience in using SAP for production control work; English ability including conversation
