Responsibilities

Carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities across site equipment; Support production by minimising downtime and improving overall equipment reliability and performance; Work collaboratively with engineering colleagues, production teams and site stakeholders; Maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety and ensure compliance with site procedures; Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance machinery efficiency; Provide maintenance support on mixers, valves, reactors and a variety of mechanical process equipment; Contribute to engineering projects, upgrades and site improvement initiatives; Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records and documentation

Requirements

Time-served Maintenance Engineer with either an electrical or mechanical background; Previous experience within Food, FMCG, Packaging, Manufacturing or similar industrial environments; Recognised electrical qualification is essential; A proactive and team-oriented approach to engineering and problem solving; Able to work independently and make sound engineering decisions when required; Keen to develop technically and take advantage of further training opportunities; Strong commitment to safe working practices and continuous improvement
