Multi-Skilled Technician (Electrical Bias)

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Technician (Electrical Bias) to join our professional Estates Maintenance team, delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality electrical maintenance services within a complex healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, testing, fault diagnosis, repair, and calibration of electrical and associated building services plant and equipment.; Carry out emergency lighting testing to BS EN 5266, fixed wire testing to BS 7671, and lightning protection testing to BS EN 62305, rectifying faults as required.; Respond promptly to reactive maintenance and breakdown requests and carry out electrical isolations for specialist contractors.; Participate in weekly fire alarm testing and support wider Estates Maintenance team activities through flexible, multi-trade working.; Work safely and in full compliance with Trust and departmental Health & Safety procedures, maintaining accurate estates records, asset data, and plant history.

Requirements

Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship with City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in an electrical engineering discipline; IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) with City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
