New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg

4th Floor Surgery Med Surg Unit is a 45-bed unit that specializes in the safe delivery of comprehensive preoperative and post-operative care as well as adult and geriatric medical care. Eclectic, variety of patients – adults all ages, lots of hip and knee surgery – physical therapy team works closely with RNs try to run floor with a charge nurse that doesn’t have patients – always available, answering questions. Atrium Health Union is a 182-bed hospital in Monroe, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care.

Responsibilities

Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
