Newly Qualified Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist – Permanent Role. Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum. Location: North East London. Contract: Full Time, Permanent. Start Date: September 2026. Are you a newly qualified Speech & Language Therapist looking to kick-start your career in paediatrics? We have an exciting opportunity for a Newly Qualified Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join a supportive and experienced team working across mainstream primary schools in North East London. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills in a nurturing environment, with a structured competency programme and ongoing supervision to support your transition into practice.

Responsibilities

Carrying out assessments and developing individual therapy programmes; Delivering evidence-based speech and language interventions; Supporting children within the classroom and school environment; Working closely with teachers, parents and multidisciplinary professionals; Contributing to EHCP assessments and reviews where appropriate; Completing a structured competency framework with regular clinical supervision and mentoring.

Requirements

HCPC registration (or due to obtain prior to starting); Newly qualified or early career Speech & Language Therapist; Passion for working with children in educational settings; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Enthusiastic, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality care; Ability to work independently while benefiting from regular supervision and support.
